Jennifer J. Hagan joins Polycommerce as Outside Legal Counsel  (May 31, 2002)

Hagan is a partner in the Hagan Law Firm; Hagan’s principal practice areas include assisting and advising start-up corporations, corporate formation, representation, and business law. She obtained her law degree from Santa Clara University in 1991 and was admitted to the State Bar of California that same year. She is a member of both the business and employment law sections of the State Bar of California. Currently, Hagan is a member of the Palo Alto Bar Association.

Robert L. Frank joins Polycommerce as Senior Business Advisor (May 7, 2002)

Frank has over 25 years of experience in information security executive management in companies ranging from pre-IPO Silicon Valley startups (Entegrity Solutions, Viquo Corp.) to one of the largest global corporations (Mobil Corp.). His specific business experience is in leading edge Information Security technologies, policies and procedures for secure business practices in high-tech, financial, oil & gas, real estate, media, and construction industries. He has worked in a variety of fields like corporate management, business development, professional services and financial analysis. Frank holds an MS in Business Policy (Executive MBA), Columbia University Business School, NY and a BS in Gen. Engineering/Management, US Military Academy, West Point, NY. Frank is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). He is also a regular presenter at major international IT and security conferences.

B.J. Margoes joins Polycommerce as Senior Business Advisor (May 6, 2002)

Margoes will be responsible for the joint development of PolyCommerce IT Professional Consulting Service offerings, methodologies, business and sales plans, staffing, training, performing, and project and engagement management.

 

Margoes’s management experience spans over twenty-five years of IT expertise in multiple organizational management functions in staff administration, executive management liaison positions, task forces, and team leadership roles. Her technical experience encompasses all levels of data, voice, and systems networking with an emphasis on design, performance and capacity planning. Her financial background includes corporate banking and financial institution mergers and acquisition re-engineering, financial analysis, auditing, budgeting, inventory control, cost analysis and projections, billing, telecommunications tariff impact analysis, profit and loss management, bank operations, cost effective programs, and the establishment of actionable management reporting. Before joining PolyCommerce, she served as the Networking Principal for

IBM Global Services, the Nationwide Networking Manager for KPMG, an independent IT

Consultant, and worked for Systems and Networks (Cadence) and Bank Of America. Margoes holds IBM certifications in both Networking and IT Process Management.

Henry S. Teng was Chief of Information Security at eBay. He has US Big-Five consulting experience offering information security services and IT audit to clients such as Visa USA, Macromedia, Nestle Ice Cream Company and Hotwire. Teng is a founding member of the SRI Intrusion Detection Workshop in 1988 initiated by Dr. Dorothy Denning and Dr. Don Parker of SRI International. Teng is a founding member and chairperson of an industry consortium against Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks working with some fifty companies such as eBay, Yahoo!, Amazon.com, Cisco, Microsoft, IBM, Recourse Technology, KPMG, Counterpane, Charles Schwab, etc. Teng is a nationally known expert in security firewall management, security policy creation, interpretations, security standards, security risk assessments, security vulnerability assessments, system evaluations, system development, process development and firewall design.

Judd Sloan joins PolyCommerce as Senior Business Advisor (August 15, 2001)

A veteran of information technology, Judd Sloan has many years experience in systems design and analysis. In addition, he has experience in operating systems, data encryption, and securing data transmissions. Sloan has founded a number of consulting companies that have been purchased by larger organizations. He has served as National Sales Manager in two companies and as National Engineering Manager at two companies. Sloan assisted in writing documents, SE1009, at IBM that was later used as a basis for SEI Engineering Audit practices guidelines.

Victor Fischer brings twenty-nine years of industry experience. Fischer created the IT functions for Halo Data Devices, a startup creating new technology for consumer product memory applications. Previously, he served as Vice President of Information Systems for Leasing Solutions, Inc., a leader in technology leasing for Fortune 500 companies. Previously, Fischer was Vice President of Operations at Connect, Inc., a leading provider of electronic commerce software for web-based business transactions and served as Director of Information Systems at Xilinx, a leading supplier of CMOS programmable logic.
